PERSONALITY & CHARACTERISTICS
When choosing a font for your design, remember that fonts have their own characteristics and personality. This should line up with the personality of your brand or event.

SERIF VS. SANS SERIF

Serif fonts are known to have “feet”, or extensions to the font. The extensions are what are referred to as the serifs. Serif style fonts are typically know to be more traditional or serious. Serif fonts are very easily to read and flow well as they are dominantly used in books and magazines.
Sans fonts are fonts without “feet”. This style of font is known to more contemporary or more informal than serif. It also primarily used across the internet in web design.
